AMEAC Lyon

EMEAC Lyon March 2025 was the first international event in which AeroUM participated, as PAS Minho, a Local Group of EUROAVIA - The European Association of Aerospace Engineering Students. The meeting took place from the 24th to the 28th of March 2025 on the INSA Lyon campus, and was organized by EUROAVIA Lyon.

AeroUM was well represented by the former president and former head of the EUROAVIA Department, Bárbara Carmelo and Alexandre Monteiro, who joined more than 55 aerospace engineering students from different nationalities across Europe and beyond.

Throughout the event, were discussed several topics, particularly those concerning the role of EUROAVIA International in the field of defense. For our Association, the highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the first steps towards organizing our own international event - Fly In Minho - which will allow PAS Minho to become AS Minho (an ordinary member of the association).

This international event is already planned to be from the 22nd to the 28th of June 2026
